This course is intended solely for the use of mental healthcare professionals involved in the field of psychotherapy. This course contains training in the theory and practice of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and excerpts or transcripts from or descriptions of actual clinical therapy sessions with clients, as well as descriptions of clients and their treatment. As your instructor, I wish to offer you this material for your growth and development, and my clients have graciously and generously consented to our use of their session videos/transcripts to aid your learning.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

You agree to keep all course content confidential. You understand that you may engage with this content only for its intended educational and training purposes, and you agree not to disclose this content to others.

You will not record (audio or voice) any part of this course content.

You will not share any part of this course content with others, including any videos provided by Jamie.

If you know a client whose therapy session or transcript is presented during the course, you agree to inform Jamie and remove yourself from the training or stop watching the section of the course where their work is being shown and discussed. Jamie will seek to offer supplementary learning experiences to replace the session content you were unable to view.

You agree to treat clinical material presented in the course as you would your own clinical material in terms of confidentiality of records and recordings. You agree to maintain any transcripts or other material regarding therapy sessions in a secure location or destroy them as you would other clinical records.

You agree to view course content in a private space where it cannot be overheard or seen by others.

You agree to respect the intellectual property contained in and constituted by this course, and will not infringe upon this intellectual property. You will not share or distribute course content, including handouts, in any way without written permission from Jamie.

You understand that the practices and techniques discussed in this content do not guarantee any particular client outcome, and that the course instructors are accepting no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any actions, omissions, injuries or damages by or of you or any third party.
