Safer Together Consult Group
Apply What You've Learned, With Support and Community!
You took the Safer Together course. You learned about structural dissociation, about how trauma and complex dissociation show up in the couples room, about what it looks like when fight, flight, freeze, attach, and submit responses are running the cycle.
And then you went back to your couples. And hopefully you could see more clearly than before.
But when it came time to intervene, you may have found yourself thinking: What do I actually do with this?
You're not alone in that. It's one of the most common things Jamie hears from Safer Together graduates:
I value the material, and learned so much. I can see it more clearly in my couples now. But I want help learning how to work with it.
So here is that help!
What This Group Is:
The Safer Together Consultation Group is a small, closed group of EFT couples therapists who have completed the Safer Together course and want dedicated support applying its concepts with their couples.
Over six monthly sessions, you'll watch real case consultation, ask questions, deepen your clinical thinking, and, if you choose, bring your own cases for direct feedback from Jamie. (See below for info on the Presenter vs. Observer Roles.)
This is a working group. You'll learn by watching consultation unfold in real time, by hearing how other therapists are navigating the same challenges you face, and by being part of a community where it's safe to say "what the heck is going on here?!"
Group size: No more than 12 members, ensuring that every session has room for real engagement.
Sessions: 2 hours each, once per month, June through December 2026 (skipping August), via Zoom.
Prerequisite: Completion of the Safer Together course (in any format: live cohort or self-paced).
Day and Time:Â To be determined based on availability of group members.Â
